DLM Installations starts every access-control project with a door-by-door assessment. We identify which entries need keycard control, which need two-factor authentication (card + PIN), and which should remain on standard hardware. We document the door frame type, existing hardware, and power availability for each location before quoting.
Installation typically involves running low-voltage wiring from each door reader back to an access-control panel, installing the locking hardware (maglock or electric strike), mounting the reader and request-to-exit device, and programming the panel with your credential database. Most single-door systems are complete in half a day. Multi-door commercial projects typically run 1–3 days.
